What’s News — Old News But Good News

What’s News? We’re News!

Rochester Democrat & Chronicle

We are beyond excited! Deanna Salamone, the Creator/Inventor of Salamone’s PASTAbilities was interviewed by the Democrat & Chronicle! The article appeared on the front of the Living section on Tuesday, February 17, 2009.

This recognition of a creative and commpassionate woman (who came up with a great idea) was deserved. In the year that I have done PASTAbilities childcare events with Deanna, I have never heard anything but praise for the idea and the execution. That is a result of her great idea, but also her high standards and professionalism.

We’re Accessible and Ready to Party!

The Pieter's Family Life Center

Starting Spring 2009 you can have your party at The Pieter’s Family Life Center in Henrietta! The beautiful Pieter’s Center is “proud to be a host for PASTAbilities.”

One of the driving forces behind PASTAbilities is “Abilities”! We believe people of all different abilities can have fun cooking with pasta. This facility is fully-accessible with sinks and counters that raise and lower to meet the needs of everyone — young, old, able, and differently-abled!

Contact us for details and availability of this amazing facility!

The Pieter’s Family Life Center is part of Heritage Christian Services.

We’re Cooking!

Mall at Greece Ridge

The Cooking School at Tops brought us along to the Mall at Greece Ridge’s Family Fun Night in February – Center Court. It was FREE to the public — about 75 people tried PASTAbilities for themselves.

We’re Quality

Deanna, Salamone’s PASTAbilities creator appeared before the Quality Council of Rochester, explaining what we had to offer childcare centers. Following the meeting we were added to their official list of approved field trips/entertainment. What this means is that any child care center that has qualified for council assistance can now apply for funds to have PASTAbilities come to their site. We couldn’t be happier!

We’re the Tops!

We’re at The Cooking School! After a successful first class in early October, Deanna has been invited to come back at the beginning of 2009. The Cooking School is in the Tops International store on Mt. Read Boulevard at Maiden Lane, in Greece.
